Do You Have a Vacation Scent?

In doing a little research for my trip to Kona (more on this later, promise!), I ran across this post suggesting that an easy way to transition into vacation mode is to designate a signature scent just for that. A quick spray and voilà: you’re instantly out. of. office.

While I rarely wear perfume on an every day basis, the idea intrigued me for a few reasons. One, I love any excuse to add to my collection of beauty products. Two, living—and working—in Hawaii means palm trees and tropical breezes no longer evoke the same vacation vibes they once did.

I’ve spent the better half of my day flirting with potential scents with little success: Santal 33…too popular. Bobbi Brown’s Beach…too obvious. diptyque’s Ofrésia…too much. I need help, friends!
